Week 1- Task automated writing on jubilee portraits

My initial thoughts of the jubilee portrait of the queen were that it signified Royalty, History, prestige and strength. However, to me it seemed very professional and stereotypical unlike a portrait of the queen produced by the artist Jane Perkins who utilizes her surrounding materials as a means to produce detailed and intricate work, the use of media gives the piece numerous different textures that the jubilee painting does not achieve, whilst the painting is a traditional way to document this moment in history, the Jane Perkins piece demonstrates different ways in which we can document moments through use of other media.
