Task- formation of textile education/ description of images 2

Insula Dulcamar, 1938, Klee .P, http://artclubblog.com/2010/12/18/paul-klee-project/ accessed 15/10/2013

This image is reminiscent of a child’s drawing, forming geometric shapes in a bold black colour with what look like thick brushstrokes, contrasting the pale pastel background made up of a blend of colours such as pale pinks, greens and blues. i personally prefer the first image i described by Josef Albers, both are simple yet, Albers work  is more effective and intriguing.
